Greetings and happy new year! Welcome to issue 112.

January marks a new year and new beginnings! After well deserved rest, the students are in full swing of the scholastic and creative pursuits. Extended Essays have been completed, the 2nd year theatre production is mounting, and excitement for One World is building.

This month the college had been reflecting on international events. The Pearson College Social Entrepreneurs activity organized the Pearson College Economic Summit in which students from around Victoria were invited to discus world economics.

Next the conflict in Gaza had an impact on the campus. Students organized a discussion forum and a peace walk to shed light and understanding on the conflict.

Finally, the College has received an update on Atsikana Pa Ulendo (Girls on the Move) Secondary School. A one-of-a-kind high school in Malawi which the students of Pearson College have helped to create.
