Rosh-Hashana

Continuing the tradition we started last year, we, the Israelis at the college wanted to share one of the nicest, but definitely the sweetest custom for Rosh-Hasdhana, the Jewish new year. We start every year by eating apples and honey, for a sweet sweet year! The coming year, according to the jewish calender, is year 5765 since the creation of the earth!! We enjoyed forcing everyone who joined us to break challenge themselves by saying the traditional blessings in Hebrew, and by learning the traditional songs. We laughed, we shared, we learnt and had fun, but most importantly, we ate!
