I was sitting in the noisy cafeteria as I finished my supper and prepared myself for the dishes which awaited me in the kitchen for dinner duty. But during dinner I discovered that there was an extra seat in the school van which would be heading down Pearson Drive in less than 45 minutes filled with enthusiastic outdoor fitness participants.
With encouragement from Emily (New Zealand yr. 31) I quickly found someone to cover my kitchen duties, packed and hoped into the van, for the two hour drive to Theo and Eileen's house at Nanoose for the night.
